Both the University of Wyoming men's and women's swimming teams finished second Saturday at the Denver Relays.

The Cowgirls won three of 10 events: the 3x300 freestyle, the 500 crescendo and the 400 freestyle.

Katelyn Blattner, Daniela Luna-Roche and Lainee Jones were on the winning 3x300 team, with Jones and Blattner teaming with Isobel Ryan and Sani Carsrud to win the crescendo. The winning 400 free team had Samantha Burke joining Jones, Carsrud and Ryan.

The Cowboys also won three events: the 3x300 free, the 3x100 butterfly and the 3x100 breaststroke.

Seth Borgart, Jacob Harlan and Ryan Netzel comprised the 3x300 team; the 3x100 fly team was PJ Musser, Jack Scafuri and Austin Crump; and David Murphy, Mitchell Hovis and James Boude were on the final winning team.
