The University of Wyoming tennis team evened its season record at 4-4 with a 4-1 defeat of Drake on Sunday in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Cowgirls jumped out to a 1-0 lead by winning doubles behind the pairings of Elisa Koonik/Tessa van Der Ploeg and Ana Royo/Maria Oreshkina.

In singles play, No. 2 Koonik, No. 3 Oreshkina and No. 6 Mihaela Kaftanova all earned victories.

UW returns to the court next weekend against Gonzaga and Eastern Washington in Spokane, Washington.
