The University of Wyoming track and field teams put together some solid performances Saturday at both the Texas Tech Shootout in Lubbock, Texas, and the Mountain Lion Open in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In Texas, Addison Henry won her flight in the shot put with a toss of 47 feet, 11.25 inches. Also for the Cowgirls, Ja'la Henderson was fourth in the long jump and Jasmyne Cooper finished fourth in the 600-yard run. Bryce Ailshie was third in the 600 for the Cowboys.

Kacey Doner had UW's top performance in Colorado, winning the mile with a time of 4 minutes, 58.27 seconds. Zia Macdermid finished fifth in the 800 for the Cowgirls and Leighton Lanier was fifth in the triple jump for the Cowboys.
