The University of Wyoming volleyball team dropped a tough four-set match (27-29, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23) to Iowa on Friday at the South Dakota Classic in Vermillion, South Dakota.

KC McMahon had 18 kills to lead the Cowgirls (4-3), while Jackie McBride added 10 and Tara Traphagan nine. Mackenzie Coates had 47 assists and 10 digs and Madi Fields had 21 digs.

Wyoming played host South Dakota later Friday before finishing the tournament against UC Davis on Saturday.
