The University of Wyoming volleyball team saw its four-match winning streak end with back-to-back losses at the Cyclone Invite on Thursday and Friday in Ames, Iowa.

Thursday night, the Cowgirls were swept 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-20) by Iowa State while Syracuse handed UW a 3-2 (25-18, 25-22, 29-31, 18-25, 15-13) defeat on Friday.

Emily Lewis had a combined 30 kills in the two matches, including a career-high 21 against Syracuse. Cori Aafedt had 50 combined assists in the two matches and Marissa Harmon had 29. Madi Fields had 38 combined digs.

The Cowgirls (8-3) play Iowa on Saturday before beginning Mountain West play Thursday at San Jose State.
