The University of Wyoming volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (25-22, 16-25, 25-19, 25-22) match to Iowa on Saturday at the Cyclone Classic in Ames, Iowa, to finish the weekend 0-3.

The Cowgirls (8-4) got a combined 29 kills from Emily Lewis (15) and Reed Copeland (14) with Faith Waitsman adding 10. Cori Aafedt had 41 assists while Madi Fields had a match-best 29 digs. Aafedt (13), Lewis (11) and Jaiden Chase (10) also had double-digit digs.

Cali Hoye and Taylor Louis had 19 kills apiece for the Hawkeyes.

Wyoming opens Mountain West play Thursday at San Jose State.
