Wyoming volleyball sweeps San Diego State

The Wyoming volleyball team won for the ninth time in its past 10 matches with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 26-24) sweep of San Diego State on Thursday in San Diego.

The Cowgirls (16-8, 11-2 Mountain West) trailed 12-7 in the final set before rallying for the win.

Jackie McBride had 14 kills and six blocks while Tara Traphagan and KC McMahon added 12 kills apiece. Mackenzie Coates had a match-high 46 assists and libero Madi Fields finished with 16 digs.

The Cowgirls remain on the road as they play at Fresno State on Saturday.
