The University of Wyoming volleyball will be seeking its first win of the 2019 season Monday when it hosts Long Island University at the UniWyo Sports Complex.

The Cowgirls (0-2) opened the season with a 3-0 loss to Colorado and a 3-2 defeat to UC-Santa Barbara in the Buffs Invitational in Boulder, Colorado, over the weekend. Monday's match against LIU (0-2) is also a part of the invite.

Tara Traphagan and Jackie McBride recorded 21 kills apiece to lead UW over the weekend, with Mackenzie Coates tallying 41 assists and Madi Fields 36 digs.

Following Monday's match, the Cowgirls will host the UniWyo Invite on Friday and Saturday.
