Led by Erin Sargent's top-25 finish the University of Wyoming women's golf team placed 11th at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic on Tuesday in Maricopa, Arizona.

Sargent shot an 8-over 224 to tie for 23rd. She was followed by Megan Knadler and Kaylee Knadler (10-over 226), Caitlyn Skavdahl (16-over 232) and Samantha Hui (22-over 238).

The Cowgirls finished 11th in the team standings with a 54-hole total of 42-over 906. UTEP won the event with a 19-over 883.

Wyoming will next compete in the Mountain West Championship beginning Monday in Rancho Mirage, California.
