The University of Wyoming wrestling team had three wrestlers advance to the quarterfinals of the Cliff Keen Invitational on Friday in Las Vegas.

Sam Turner at 141 pounds, Branson Ashworth at 165 and Brian Andrews at heavyweight all were undefeated in the prestigious tournament heading into the quarterfinals, helping Wyoming to a tie for fourth place in the team standings.

In addition, Montorie Bridges at 133, Dewey Krueger at 157 and Cale Davidson at 197 all remained alive in the wrestlebacks for the Cowboys. Bridges and Davidson advanced to the second round of eight with victories.

The Cliff Keen Invitational concludes Saturday.
