The No. 21 University of Wyoming wrestling team begins its 2018-19 dual season this weekend at the Northeast Duals in Troy, New York. The nationally-ranked Cowboys first take the mat against Virginia at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
That is one of three dual matches that the Cowboys will compete in on Saturday. The Cowboys will then compete individually at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic on Sunday.
Nine Cowboys come off victories at the Cowboy Open last weekend, including seven in the Elite division and two in the Amateur division. Wyoming freshman Cole Moody was named Most Outstanding Wrestler in the Amateur division.
