The 11th-ranked University of Wyoming wrestling team rallied for a 22-16 victory over Oregon State on Sunday at the UniWyo Sports Complex in Laramie.

The Beavers led 16-12 after winning by pinfall at 125 pounds, but No. 12 Montorie Bridges tied the match at 16-all with a 13-5 major decision at 133. Sam Turner gave the Cowboys a 19-16 lead with an 8-3 decision at 141 and Jaron Jensen secured the victory with a tough 4-3 decision at 149.

The Cowboys (10-3) also got victories from No. 8 Branson Ashworth at 165, Tate Samuelson at 184 and No. 19 Cale Davidson at 197.

Wyoming returns to the mat Friday when they host Big 12 foe Air Force.

"It was a nail biter and a hard-earned win," UW coach Mark Branch said. "We had some guys that had a chance to be the hero.

"That was good for Jaron. It's difficult being in that situation, having to carry the balance of everything that had happened previous to that."
