Kelly Walsh Vs Gillette 4A Boys

Kelly Walsh's Davion McAdam drives to the basket against Gillette in the Class 4A title game of the Wyoming State High School Boys Basketball Championships in March. Saturday, McAdam had a game-high 28 points to lead the North to victory in the Wyoming Coaches Foundation All-Star Boys Basketball game.

Wyoming’s representatives for the annual Montana-Wyoming All-Star Boys Basketball series have been selected.

Acting Sheridan College men’s basketball coach James Ball released the roster to the Star-Tribune on Thursday.

Ball took over selecting and coaching the Wyoming side after former Sheridan College men’s basketball coach Matt Hammer left his position for a job at Colorado State-Pueblo.

Wyoming’s roster includes: Tristan Bower (Sheridan), Trase Olsen (Gillette), Davion McAdam (Kelly Walsh), Elijah Leyva (Cody), Erik Oliver (Cheyenne East), Treyton Paxton (Riverton), Danny Gosar (Pinedale), Lain Mitchelson (Farson), Colton Larson (Thunder Basin) and Jaren Fritz (Glenrock).

The annual series is set to begin its 2019 incarnation on Friday, June 7 in Billings, Montana, before Sheridan College hosts on Saturday, June 8. On Wednesday the Billings Gazette reported that the site of the game in Billings was recently changed from the typical Fortin Center on the campus of Rocky Mountain College in favor of Alterowitz Gymnasium on the campus of Montana State-Billings. A water pipe broke at Fortin Center and officials are uncertain of the gym floor’s status by game time, necessitating the change.
