For the first time this season, Casper radio listeners will be able to listen to a local high school football game.

Hit Radio KKTS (107.3 FM and AM 1580) will broadcast Saturday's Class 4A state championship football game between the Natrona County Mustangs and the Sheridan Broncs. Kickoff from the University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m., with pregame slated 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

The top-ranked Mustangs (10-1) and the three-time defending state champion Broncs (9-2) are facing off for the third consecutive year in the season's culminating game.

For years, Casper radio listeners were able to tune in on Friday night to catch either the Mustangs or the Kelly Walsh Trojans. But that ended prior to this season when AM 1400 decided to no longer cover the games.
