Team Wyoming used some late-game heroics to defeat Team Nebraska 52-50 in the Six-Man Shootout on Saturday in Chadron, Nebraska.

Farson graduate Lain Mitchelson connected with Burlington graduate Dontae Garza on a 45-yard touchdown pass on the final play of the game to give the Equality State its second consecutive victory in the annual series. Wyoming leads the all-time series 5-3.

Wyoming led 28-20 at the half before Nebraska rallied to grab a 50-46 with 20 seconds remaining before Mitchelson found Garza for the game-winning touchdown.
