Natrona County lineman Trevon Smith looks to the sideline for a play call during the Mustangs' first-round playoff game against Kelly Walsh on Oct. 26, 2018 at Cheney Alumni Field.

Natrona County lineman Trevon Smith was a late signee to the Chadron State College football team on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound Smith was a Star-Tribune Super 25 selection and earned Class 4A all-state honors on both sides of the ball for the state champion Mustangs.

He is the fourth Natrona County player to sign to play football, joining Kade Stoner (Black Hills State), Kooper Claney (Ripon College) and Jordan Bertagnole (preferred walk-on at Wyoming).

Smith is the fourth in-state scholarship player for the Eagles, who also welcomed four other Wyoming products as preferred walk-ons.
