3W Jackson (7-3) at 1W Star Valley (10-0), 6 p.m.

LAST WEEK: The Broncs scored early and often on their way to a 48-6 win at Riverton; the Braves pulled away in the final three quarters for a 45-12 home win over Douglas.

THIS SEASON: Star Valley shut out the visiting Broncs 30-0 on Oct. 10.

PLAYOFF HISTORY: The longtime rivals have only one postseason meeting -- the Braves' 49-6 victory in the 1990 quarterfinals.

KEY TO AN UPSET: The Broncs' earlier loss to the Braves was closer than the final score indicates. Jackson has to have a balanced offensive attack, move the chains and take advantage of any Star Valley miscues.

4W Powell (6-4) at 2W Cody (8-1)

LAST WEEK: The Panthers went to Lander and dominated the game on their way to a 41-14 victory; the Broncs defeated Worland 55-26.

THIS SEASON: Cody defeated the Panthers 38-14 back on Oct. 10.

PLAYOFF HISTORY: The longtime rivals have met only three times in the postseason with the Broncs winning two, including a semifinal victory in 2013.

KEY TO AN UPSET: The Panthers have all kinds of momentum after knocking off Lander in the quarterfinals. If Powell can find a way to run the ball effectively against Cody's top-ranked run defense, it could finish the season in Laramie.
