The University of Wyoming volleyball team dropped its final regular season match of 2017 to Fresno State in a 3-1 (25-20, 14-25, 25-23, 27-25) contest Saturday afternoon in Fresno, Calif. The Cowgirls had previously secured the second-place finish in the Mountain West with Wednesday's win over San Diego State.

Junior Emily Lewis led Wyoming with 18 kills and ten digs for her first career double-double. Senior libero Lily Austin became the eighth Cowgirl in program history to achieve 1,000 career digs .

Freshman Marissa Harmon also had a double-double with ten kills and 36 assists.

The Cowgirls now focus on the postseason, which they are guaranteed for the first time since 1994. The NCAA Selection Show and National Invitational Volleyball Championship will be announced on Nov. 26.
