Lander's Madison Chance wins her heat of the Class 3A girls 100-meter dash prelims May 17, 2019 during the Wyoming State High School Track and Field Championships at Harry Geldien Stadium in Casper.

Lander junior Madison Chance started and played all 90 minutes of Colorado Rush's 5-0 loss at the U.S. Soccer's Developmental Academy Winter Cup game in Lakewood, Florida, on Wednesday. That's Colorado Rush's first loss of the competition.

Chance is a starting forward for Colorado Rush, a club soccer team based in Littleton, Colorado. They were 2-0-1 through Group 11 to advance into the Winter Cup. Wednesday's game was their first of three in group play.

The Lander native committed to play at the University of Wyoming this past spring.

Colorado Rush completes group play the rest of the week. They play Reign Academy on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. before finishing group play with a Saturday morning match against Cincinnati Development Academy at 9 a.m.
