Kelly Walsh announced late Friday that Eric Robb is the school’s new track and field coach.

Robb takes over the program for Bryan Coventry, who was just named Wyoming Coaches Association 4A Boys Track Coach of the Year in June. Coventry resigned from the position back in April, shortly after his son, Sage, committed to the University of Wyoming track team.

Robb was previously the track coach at Sage Valley Junior High in Gillette, where he also taught math. Robb was also on the football coaching staff at Wright High School.

In addition to those stops, he briefly served as boys basketball coach in Upton for two seasons (2000-01).
