Boudreaux Campbell got his Fourth of July weekend off to an impressive start Saturday by winning the Cody/Yellowstone Xtreme Bulls competition to kick off the Cody Stampede.

The 19-year-old from Crockett, Texas, rode Frontier Rodeo's Lookin' Up to a 90-point score to pocket more than $5,300. Campbell, who made his first appearance at the National Finals Rodeo in December, entered the week ranked 10th in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rankings.

Cole Melancon finished second with an 88.5, followed by Aaron Williams with an 87 and Joe Frost with an 86.5.
