Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association

One week after winning the team roping title at the College National Finals Rodeo, Casper College's Trey Yates teamed with Aaron Tsinigine to win the average title at the Reno (Nevada) Rodeo on Saturday night.

Yates, who is currently 14th in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world standings, and Tsinigine pocketed almost $10,000 apiece for the win.

At the CNFR, Yates teamed with Casper native and Gillette College freshman Kellan Johnson to win the title.

Also winning average titles at Reno were bareback bronc rider Tim O'Connell, saddle bronc rider Cody DeMoss, steer wrestler Hunter Cure, bull rider Jeff Askey, tie-down roper Tyson Durfey and barrel racer Nellie Miller.
