The Central Rocky Mountain Region rodeo season heads to Sheridan College this weekend for the second of five rodeos this fall.

Gillette College swept both the men's and women's team titles at the season-opening regional rodeo at Chadron (Neb.) State College last week.

Riley Addington (barrel racing) and Quincy Segelke (breakaway roping) won individual titles for the Pronghorns' women's team, along with Eastern Wyoming College's Jacey Thompson in goat tying.

The only individual winner for the Gillette College men was team roper Kellan Johnson, who teamed with Casper College's Trey Yates to take top honors.

Other winners were: Sheridan College bareback bronc rider Hunter Carlson, Chadron State saddle bronc rider Cody Trump, Otero Junior College bull rider Kody Aldrich, Central Wyoming College steer wrestler Thomas Davis and Laramie County Community College tie-down roper Austin Hurlburt.
