Chaz Farnham and Chadwick Bergman opened the original Farnham's Furniture in November of 1993. The first location at 5345 CY Avenue was approximately 10,000 square feet in size. The original product lines ranged from Benchcraft to Universal to Simmons. Several additions and remodels later, the store grew to over 20,000 square feet while adding Galleries such as La-Z-Boy, Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, Serta and TEMPUR-PEDIC.

In 2005 Chaz Farnham saw another opportunity for growth in purchasing and completely renovating an empty grocery store. This became a new 45,000 square foot showroom. This new showroom is like none other in the region. Here we feature beautiful displays of fine quality furniture from the nation's best manufacturers. The new store opened for business on Labor Day of 2006 at 4075 CY Avenue. At this time, Farnham's also held the Grand Opening of their 10,000 square foot Broyhill Gallery. The previous location was then converted to a Sit N Sleep Clearance Center and Warehouse Distribution Center.

Since 2006 Farnham's Furniture Galleries has added seven new galleries including a Lane Showcase, a Stressless Zone, Flexsteel, Black Timber Montana Furniture, Green Gables, Norwalk Furniture, and Ashley Furniture.
