PHOTOS: Community honors fallen heroes at Memorial Day ceremony
At the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, sunshine and a warm breeze greeted officials, veterans and their families who came to pay tribute on Monday.
The Memorial Day crowd gathered inside the main cemetery building to listen to speakers, sing the national anthem and witness a 21 gun salute.
