A section of Interstate 25 in Casper will close for three days next week as crews remove the Hereford Lane bridge over the interstate.
The closure will begin at 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, and remain in effect until 11 p.m. Thursday, July 11. The affected stretch of I-25 will run between the Curtis Street/Wyoming Boulevard interchange (Exit 185) and the Bryan Stock Trail/Beverly Street interchange (Exit 186), Wyoming Department of Transportation officials said in a news release.
Traffic will be detoured during the closure.
Northbound I-25 traffic will exit at the Curtis Street/Wyoming Boulevard interchange and follow Yellowstone Highway to F Street. Drivers will then use the F Street on-ramp after crossing Bryan Stock Trail to re-enter northbound I-25.
Southbound traffic will exit at the Beverly Street/Bryan Stock Trail off-ramp and travel south on Beverly Street to Yellowstone Highway. Drivers will then use the Yellowstone Highway on-ramp to return to the interstate.

Speed limits will remain unchanged.
Motorists should expect congestion and delays along Beverly Street/Bryan Stock Trail south of A Street, as well as on E Street, F Street and McKinley Street between F Street and E Street. Additional delays are possible on Yellowstone Highway east of the Lennox Street area, according to the news release.
Flaggers will be stationed at the intersection of Bryan Stock Trail and F Street to help manage traffic flow. Another flagger will be positioned at McKinley and E streets to prevent over-height vehicles from entering the railroad underpass, which has a maximum clearance of 11 feet.
The Hereford Lane bridge demolition is part of the ongoing reconstruction project along I-25 between Walsh Drive and Center Street. The bridge will not be replaced following its removal.
